Maria Wooten, Staff Accountant

Maria was born and raised in Ecuador, graduating with a degree in accounting and auditing from the Technical University of Manabí in Portoviejo. An entrepreneur since the age of 17, she has been working in taxes since she was 14 through tax programs in Ecuador for individuals and small businesses. She moved to the United States in 2023 and Thieme, Adair and Riley CPAS opened a door of opportunity for her to develop her skills.

She is passionate about taxes, real estate, investments,didactic, and self-learning.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, crafts, and spending quality time with her husband and their 2 dogs
